Using "radical writing" and reading exercises we'll generate fresh ideas for performance. We'll look at specific Performance Poetry techniques to find out what works and what doesn't when poetry becomes performance. This workshop is geared toward increasing your ability to perform poetry in live, audience situations. Participants will learn how to gain the confidence and skills necessary to engage their audiences through performance. Please bring your work to be performed, recorded and critiqued during the workshop.
