In support of the Spring Poetry festival a Haiku competition was again organised by the City of Perth Library. City of Perth Library Haiku competition October 2007 - Results

The judge for this competition, Ms. Mizuko Inoue, Vice-consul for information and Cultural Affairs of the Consulate-General of Japan, stated that the high quality entries allowed her to experience the Australian lifestyle from many different perspectives. Entries came from around the world as well as from local schools and individuals.
