Marcella Polain and her partner Mike Williams are respected writers of both poetry and prose - see their profiles at the bottom of this email. Both will read for us.
Then, enjoy a musical performance by Marcella and Mike's sons, Julian and
Brendan.
And of course the usual opportunity for five-minute open readings.

Marcella has published two collections of poetry: Dumbstruck, and Each Clear Night, with Five Islands Press, and her first novel, The Edge of the World, will be released in August through Fremantle Arts Centre Press.
Mike Williams writes poetry and prose. His two novels Old Jazz & The Music
of Dunes are published by Fremantle Press. Dunes has been shorlisted for
the 2006 WA Premier's Book Awards, which will be announced in June.
Julian Polain divides his time between university studies, playing music,
poetry, songwriting, the collecting of stamps, and other creative
activities. He plays drums for Mongrel Country.
Brendan Polain is a prolific songwriter, a member of four bands; He also
acts when the opportunity arises and is keen to pursue all such creative
activities. Loves film and theatre and is currently studying at Uni.
