The Word is Out Poetry Magazine is available for $9 per copy by subscription only.

SUBMISSIONS: We publish all things poetic – poetry, articles about poetry, poetry book reviews, poetry reading/performance reviews, information about poetry events, opportunities, etc - in particular thos focussed on Western Australia. All poems must be previously unpublished.

ONLINE SUBMISSIONS - Word is Out Journal

Currently we are accepting poetry submissions to our new Quarterly Word is Out Journal. We accept poetry up to 30 lines, or shorter poems preferred, open theme (no more than five poems).

At this stage, publication is for WAPI member poets only. Currently, we cannot pay contributors but your poetry will be showcased.

We will except prize winning or previously published work. Send poems as attachments either in .rtf or word .doc files.

Copyright of material in the e-journal remains with the individual contributors and cannot be reproduced or transmitted in any form without written permission from the authors.

If your poem is accepted we will contact you via email only.
