Monday - Welcome to a World with Positive Climate SolutionsIncludes Welcome to Country, Theories of Change, Affinity Group Formation, Physics of Climate Change, Ways to make personal change, Ways to encourage national change etc Tuesday - Sustainability Now!Includes the bricks and mortar approach to our communities, ie. transport, planning, eco-homes, also the social fabric aspect of our communities, ie. social welfare, social capital, innovative solutions to brain drains, along with this will come inclusivitiy workshops for women, men, queers, Indigenous people, youth etc and ways to tackle intolerance in the environment movement Wednesday - Caring for CountryIncludes Indigenous approaches to environmental problems; forests, water and rivers actions, the success in Jabiluka and how to carry that on into the coal fight etc Thursday - On the Journey towards Sustainable Energy and Resource UseIncludes how to reduce our dependency on mining and coal, how to reduce consumption and waste before it even hits the shelves, the renewable energy debate and options other than nuclear, wiping out the possibility of nuclear, affecting change in industry, peak oil etc Friday - International SolidarityIncludes international successes in various forms from countries like Rwanda, Nepal and Venezuala as well as ways to look at global problems and affect change from a local basis etc Feel free to contact us here...
