Welcome to the Bunbury Poetry Slam!

Poetry slams are fun, exciting events where poetry becomes entertainment. Poets battle it out for prizes and random audience members are judges! Come on down...

The first Bunbury Slam will be on Saturday 13th March at 7.30pm in the Foyer of the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre - hosted by WA performance poet Allan Boyd, aka the antipoet.

ARE YOU A POET? We're looking for up to 20 contestants to battle it out with a two minute poem, with the winner decided by five randomly-chosen audience judges.

MAJOR PRIZE:  Two tickets to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow - the winning poem published in the Bunbury Mail - an interview with the winner published in the Bunbury Mail. Find out more...
