The uranium salesmen are coming to town. Let them know that WA is not buying, selling or digging. The industry often talks about the need for a balanced debate. Well, it's not going to happen inside this conference, so it has to happen on the streets.
The Anti-Nuclear Alliance of WA (ANAWA) says the programme does not take a balanced view: Uranium - WA doesn't Dig It!
The fourth Australian Uranium Conference being held in Fremantle, ojn Wednesday 23 July and Thursday 24 July. The speakers are high-profile businessmen; and politicians such as Troy Buswell and Tom Kenyon from South Australia will be attending.
To show that there is a strong opposition to nuclear power in WA, we need as many people as possible to rally outside the venue. If you would like to carry a banner, ANAWA will supply these, but you can bring your own if you prefer. Hope to see you there.
